APPDAT — PRIVACY POLICY
Effective date: July 8, 2026

Appdat stores all data locally on your device. We collect nothing, transmit nothing, and have no servers. Your application data never leaves your browser.1. OverviewAppdat is a Chrome browser extension that helps users save form data from job applications, apartment applications, loan forms, and similar pages. This Privacy Policy explains what data the Extension handles, where it is stored, and how it is used.2. Data We HandleWhen you explicitly click the Save button in Appdat, the Extension reads and stores the following on your device:- Form field labels and the values you entered (text, dropdowns, radio buttons, checkboxes)
- The names of any files you uploaded on the form (e.g. resume.pdf)
- Optionally, a copy of an uploaded file if you check the "Attach file" option
- The URL and page title of the form page
- The date and time you saved the record
- Any title or notes you add manually in the save dialog
The Extension does not read or record any data until you explicitly click Save. It does not monitor your browsing, log keystrokes, or observe any activity outside of that explicit action.3. How Data Is StoredAll data is stored exclusively in chrome.storage.local — a storage area built into your browser that exists only on your device. No data is sent to any external server, database, or third party at any time.4. Data We Do Not CollectAppdat does not collect, transmit, or share:- Browsing history or page visit logs
